We are the headquarters for Alliance Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Houston, Texas since 2015 of the most elite Brazilian Jiu Jitsu team in the world. Our wide range of instructors have trained and learned from all the greats under our flag from the founders themselves of Fabio, Jacare and Gigi to the world champion athletes they have created. Names like Lucas Lepri, Bruno Malfacine, Bernardo Faria, Cobrinha, Michael Langhi and more. We here at Alliance BJJ Houston focus on teaching the Alliance Methodology. This methodology focuses on fundamentals for self defense all the way to world championship techniques seen in today’s top competition.

You too can learn from not only us but from the greats mentioned above for we have them in our house yearly for all to attend. Although our training is intense, our instructors create an atmosphere of respect for all of our students. We offer classes for children as well as adults. Facility

In the 1980s Master Romero Cavalcanti (Jacaré) and his two black belt students Fabio Gurgel (General) and Alexandre Paiva (Gigi) followed different paths in search of success in their own academies. However, in all championships they met and ended up fighting each other, creating an unfair rivalry because of their origins. That is why in 1993 the three made the decision to form an alliance, ALLIANCE, and go hand in hand in all the championships.

In 2014, seeing that each of their academies was expanding and forming affiliates, they decided to create an association to unify the teaching method and implement the management skills that were making great success at the hands of Fabio Gurgel.

Today the ALLIANCE Team has over 300 branches worldwide, with a reference methodology and 14x WORLD CHAMPION. Which shows the strength, dedication and unity of this team.
